#RockStarLife: Coffee Break
Baltimore Drag, Ceramics & The Gay Agenda with Tre Crawford aka MXBHVN!!!!
For this Coffee Break, I’m joined by Tre Crawford aka MXBHVN—a queer Baltimore-based artist, drag performer, and the mastermind behind The Gay Agenda, LLC. I’m totally obsessed with his work (seriously, I own like 10 of his ceramic mugs and candles because they’re everything), and today we’re diving into some messy, wild stories only two Baltimore Drag queens could tell.
We kick things off with a juicy spill about a hater who came for my Paranormal Realm art exhibition (spoiler alert: they couldn’t handle it). Then we get into Tre’s roots in Havre de Grace, MD, surviving life as a queer person in a conservative small town in the late 2000s (we both are from Havre de Grace), how he built The Gay Agenda, LLC, and what it’s really like playing and creating in the fabulous world of Baltimore drag. From Grand Central tales to battle scars we got from our art, Tre is all about pushing limits for drag, and we’re going there.
And, in true Zenobia Darling fashion, I made Tre watch my art film #RockStarLife: The Art of Drag, shot in Havre de Grace during the July 2023 drag show at The State Theater. You know I had to get his unfiltered thoughts, and trust—I'm spilling some never-before-heard behind-the-scenes tea from filming.
Then, because we’re both John Waters stans, we dive into why Female Trouble is the ultimate John Waters masterpiece and why Waters himself is the OG punk queen of cinema, still inspiring us Baltimore drag queens to this day.
We wrap things up with some witchcraft, art, drag, skincare (straight guys, take notes), DL guys on Grindr in Havre de Grace, and queer magic talk. Plus, we dish on why Drag Race and Dragula are sleeping on Baltimore’s drag scene, even though Dragula is literally inspired by it. Oh, and what it really means to start an LLC in Maryland and why you should be supporting queer artists.
So grab a Gay Agenda mug, pour that coffee (or something stronger), and let’s get messy. ☕💅💥🔥

Season Two of #RockStarLife: Coffee Break blasts off with new episodes every Thursday—plus surprise Espresso Shots whenever the cosmos (or my caffeine levels) demand it. 🚀☕✨
Plus! The revolution needs YOU! Ethereal Anarchy: Zenobia Darling's Haunted Revolution Part 1 premiered on November 1st, capturing one of the most profound paranormal experiences I’ve ever had—documented in full, raw, reality-fabulousness. But we have more content, and filmed during the preimere, and now on a mission to make a part two, creating a first of its kind, full length paranormal documentry. Your support on our GoFundMe fuels everything from ghost-hunting gear to our fierce crew, keeping the spooky, queer vibes alive for the next chapter. Every dollar helps us push boundaries, bring the supernatural to life, and, yes—raise the dead!
Immense love to my fabulous sponsors: The Harford County Cultural Arts Board and Odyssey Salon and Day Spa in Aberdeen, MD!!!
